"My Time At Wemark Has Made Me Become The Proffessional I Am Today."

Recalling my first day at work, The only thing I knew was that I’m going to join a well-established startup that has successfully launched it’s product and is currently focused on polishing it through growth. all of that has changed completely, when the founders have let us all know that we are about to board a plane to california in order to sucessfully pivot our product and present it in an upcoming demo day.

Recognizing the true value of agile methodology, we have progressed to the final part of our stay, and were ready to present a whole new product: A blockchain based marketplace for stock photography.

Our plan was to challenge the status quo in one of today's most centralized markets. Our research showed that there are hundreds of millions of creators and customers, yet - less than a 100 companies control the majority of distribution. Establishing a decentralized marketplace will allow creators to license their content directly to customers, in addition to keeping all rights to their content and maintaining control over its price.

Back to work

Landing back in our HQ, We have started to lay the foundation towards an application of our newly born concept. As a Lead UX designer, my goal was to successfully plan and design the core functions of the product’s alpha version, that will enable photographers to create a profile, verify their personal identity and submit images for review. I have worked closely with our developers to ensure the app’s deployment was aligned with my provided design guidelines.

Further Development

acknowledging the fact that Wemark is set to become a blockchain-based platform, At the heart of our product was a dedicated utility token that will serve as a native payment system. The token was bound to be sold to credited investors through an initial coin offering.

As a design team of one, It was important to make sure design is being created with consistency and scale in mind. By utilizing a collection of repeatable components and a setting of standards guiding the use of those components, I was able to create a single source of truth for present and future development.
